The technical standards are what data and dashboard providers will use to interface with the central technical architecture and/or each other. They will define the open APIs for find and view, PDP’s profile of the user managed access (UMA) protocol and the format of the pension identifier (PeI).

This January 2022 version of the technical standards should allow data and dashboard providers to start to plan the software required to connect to the ecosystem, as well as responding to the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) Pensions Dashboards: consultation on the draft Pensions Dashboards Regulations 2022.

The technical standards will be of interest to data providers, dashboard providers, ISPs, developers and security architects.

This version of the technical standards will iterate to incorporate the learnings from PDP’s test phases, as we work with early volunteer data and dashboard providers to refine the onboarding processes and functionality of pensions dashboards.
