Driving progress at scale in 2025

2025 will be a year of major developments for pensions dashboards. We’re focused on scaling up industry connection to the ecosystem, testing with real users on the MoneyHelper dashboard, and preparing for commercial dashboards.

We want to thank the many people across industry, government and regulators who helped contribute to a successful 2024 for pensions dashboards.

Hear from Chris Curry as we look forward to further progress in 2025.

Building on the momentum of a successful 2024 for the Pensions Dashboards Programme, this year will see major developments such as the start of wider industry connection to the dashboards ecosystem and testing the service with real users. Here are our plans to drive progress at scale in 2025.

We’ve been working closely with our volunteer participants who are building a direct connection to the dashboards ecosystem, helping them get started and move through the process.

All of them have begun connecting, with several now moving through the final stages of connection.

Our focus is on continuing connection with all VPs, with as many as possible connected by the end of April, so connection with wider industry can get underway at that point as planned.

Thanks to feedback from VPs, we've made improvements to guidance, supporting documents and backstage processes, which should pave the way for a smoother experience in future.

This year we’ll continue to work on development and testing of the MoneyHelper dashboard.

We’ll be integrating the find and identity services with the dashboard and shaping plans for end-to-end user testing, starting with small numbers at first and ramping up over time.

The government remains committed to commercial dashboards, and they’re an important part of our 2025 plans. This year, we’ll start preliminary work on identifying opportunities and challenges for commercial dashboards, working with the pensions industry to do so.

Collaboration with industry and partners is fundamental to the success of dashboards.

In 2025 we’ll continue to attend events to share updates, and are exploring more opportunities for engaging with industry, building on the success of our town hall event in December.

We’ll also continue holding regular webinars, forums and working groups.

I’d like to thank the many people across industry, government and regulators who have helped contribute to a successful 2024, and I look forward to continuing our work together in 2025.
