At first, there'll be 1 pensions dashboard available to the public.
This will be the MoneyHelper Pensions Dashboard, provided by the Money and Pensions Service and backed by the UK Government.
The government is committed to enabling other organisations to develop their own dashboards in the future.
These are known as private sector dashboards and can only operate once they meet requirements set out in government regulations and relevant standards.
They'll also need to be authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority, have permission to operate a pensions dashboard service and meet their requirements for undertaking this activity.
