PDP releases latest progress report as connection moves forward
- Pensions Dashboards Programme (PDP) publishes report on progress following start of industry connection
- First pension providers and schemes have completed connection
- Consumer testing of MoneyHelper pensions dashboard due to begin from summer 2025
With connection of pension providers and schemes to the dashboards ecosystem underway, the Pensions Dashboards Programme (PDP) has released its latest report on progress.
The progress update report outlines that the first pension provider completed connection in April 2025, and sets out PDP’s ongoing work to prepare and guide industry through their connection journeys. PDP has also described how industry participants have played a vital role in helping test and refine connection processes.
As part of the Money and Pensions Service (MaPS), PDP is working closely with the team developing the government-provided MoneyHelper pensions dashboard. The programme’s progress report looks ahead to consumer testing getting underway from summer 2025, providing further information on the form this will take. There is also an update on engagement with industry on preparing for private sector dashboards.
As part of its collaborative approach, PDP’s report also includes updates from the Department for Work and Pensions, The Pensions Regulator and the Financial Conduct Authority, as well as a group of industry experts who make up the pensions dashboards advisory group.
Chris Curry, PDP’s Principal, said:
“Our latest progress update report comes at a time of a major step towards delivering pensions dashboards. In April 2025, we reached the first date in connection guidance, with the first pension providers and schemes having completed their connection journey.
“The updates from government, regulators and industry in the report reflect the collaborative approach to dashboards. Our shared commitment will deliver a tool that will improve pensions engagement and retirement planning for people across the UK.”
