Latest progress report announces first 2 participants have completed integration testing

  • The Pensions Dashboards Programme has released its newest report on progress
  • The report highlights successes including completing integration testing with the first 2 volunteer participants
  • Other updates include standards refinements and progress with the Money and Pensions Service’s dashboard

The Pensions Dashboards Programme (PDP) has published its latest progress update report, covering the last 6 months, with successes including completing integration testing with the first 2 volunteer participants.

The document, available on the programme’s website, details the work to connect volunteer participants to the dashboards ecosystem ahead of wider industry connection as planned in April 2025. All volunteer participants will be invited to connect by mid-December 2024. It also sets out progress on updating dashboard standards, as well as highlighting announcements such as the Government’s decision to prioritise the dashboard that will be provided by the Money and Pensions Service (MaPS).

Further information appears from MaPS on development of the MoneyHelper pensions dashboard, including successfully passing its alpha phase service standards assessment. This means the MoneyHelper dashboard can now enter a user testing phase with a limited number of people, which MaPS will use for iterative improvements. The Department for Work and Pensions and regulators have also provided updates on their work in relation to dashboards.

Oliver Morley, CEO of MaPS, said:

“This new progress update report from the Pensions Dashboards Programme demonstrates the momentum that has built up across the course of this year. Most importantly, 6 volunteer participants have started their connection journey and two have completed integration testing.

“We’re looking ahead to wider industry connection getting started next year. The message to pension providers and schemes is: connection will start in April as planned. Your collaborative spirit has made it possible to get this far, and everyone’s hard work together will make dashboards a reality, making it easier for people to engage with their pensions.”

The progress update report can be found on PDP’s website.
