There is just one year remaining until the final connection deadline of 31 October 2026, by which time all pension providers and schemes in scope of the legislation must have connected to the pensions dashboards ecosystem.

The first pension provider has finalised connection to the pensions dashboards ecosystem on 17 April 2025, as per DWP’s staged timetable in guidance.

Three participant organisations have passed through the stages required to connect to the ecosystem for pensions dashboards, opening the way for the first schemes to connect and marking a significant step towards a tool that will help transform retirement planning.

2025 will be a year of major developments for pensions dashboards.
